It is recommended that  fire safety equipment  is maintained and regularly checked, to ensure that it will perform to its optimum level in the event of a fire.

 

FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS

The British Standard  recommend that a fire alarm system is tested and maintained at no longer than six monthly periods, more in high risk or problem locations.
